Industrial "Power over Ethernet" 4 port switch: The Garrettcom PS14P is a fully 802.3af compliant industrial ‘Power over Etnernet’ switch. This product provides DIN rail mounting capability options and a wide operating temperature range of -50 to +95°C.

The PS14P is the world's first industrial grade Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch. Powered by a 48Vdc input, the switch provides 4 x 10/100Mbps 802.3af compliant Ethernet ports. These ports can be used to power any device that supports the 802.3af standard such as IP telephones, wireless Access Points, IP cameras or industrial sensors.

This switch permits much greater flexibility, reliability, stability and performance to companies installing such devices, as a power cable no longer needs to be installed. All the required power is transmitted down the spare pairs (not data pairs) of the Ethernet connection. This can be especially useful when trying to install wireless access points in optimal locations.

With a hardened construction and EN 50155 compliance, this industrial switch offers market leading features required for use in rail applications. This product is protected to IP53.
