We have successfully designed and supplied a number of systems into various industries including rail.

Prior to the implementation of CE Marking and the EMC Directives, we formed a partnership with fellow Sussex Businesses to set up a dedicated EMC test facility.

Amplicon, as part of The Sussex Euro Compliance Group (SECG), have recently moved their pre-compliance test facility to a new location in Hove, East Sussex, UK. This new location means that our extensive EMC capability is now complemented by LVD and environmental test facilities which have been established at this site for many years.

As well as adding new facilities, the move has allowed the complete upgrading and improvement of our EMC capability. This means that we are now able to offer 3GHz immunity and 18GHz emissions testing on a pre-compliance basis, along with extensive LVD and environmental testing.

The EMC facility is operated within an ISO9000 Quality Assurance system.

Today, in rail applications, we understand the importance of products’ and solutions’ performance, reliability, interoperability and ruggedness. We have worked with a number of rail contractors and successfully tested a number of Amplicon’s industrial products to required standards.
