This chassis accommodates 3U cards, comprising 13 PXI peripheral expansion slots and one system slot with one PXI-to-PXI bridges. It is ideal for high density I/O and high performance applications. An internal 10MHz reference clock is available on all 13 PXI slots. The trigger clock is segmented into two groups of slots (1-7 and 8-13), while the Star trigger is available on slots 3 to 13.
The PXIS-2670 is equipped with either an AC power supply or two 250W DC power supplies. Each DC power module can be removed from the front panel, thereby reducing MTTR. Any malfunctioning fans can be hot-swapped from the front panel too, making the PXIS-2670 suitable for measurement and automation applications when continuous operation is required.
