The 3488 products are modern GPIB boards designed for fast bus transfers and maximum compatibility with Test & Measurement instruments. A 1KB FIFO onboard bridges the gap between the slow GPIB bus (1.5MB/s) and the fast PCI bus (132MB/sec). Universal PCI keying on the PCI-3488 allows the board to be used in 3.3V and 5V PCI slots.
A GPIB bus testing and configuration utility is supplied free of charge which allows easy set up of new test systems.
