The ADAM-5550KW Programmable Automation Controller is designed for control tasks which require the performance of an Industrial Computer and the robustness of a PLC. The base holds eight I/O modules and can be expanded further with RS485 or a Motion Control network.

 

The ADAM-5550KW uses KW Multiprog software which features 5 standard IEC61131-3 programming languages, so PLC users can develop control strategies with their own familiar programming languages. This is combined with ProConOS to ensure deterministic control of I/O signals.

Ethernet connectivity enables operation as a Modbus/ TCP server or client for integration with a SCADA software package such as DAQFactory or Wonderware
