The ADAM-5510 series of programmable controllers includes four or eight slot versions with either Ethernet or RS485 communications. They feature Intel x86 based CPUs running Datalight ROM-DOS with more than enough memory for developing complex logic or data storage applications, such as data recording, which is difficult for traditional controllers.

Users can use Borland C 3.0 to develop the application program and then download it by Windows-based ADAM-5510 series utility.

Whether you choose the Ethernet or the RS485 interface, the ADAM-5510 can be integrated with a SCADA software package such as DAQFactory or Wonderware
