Real-time controllers

This section includes various remote data acquisition devices that contain on-board processors, which enable them to operate in real-time independently of a computer. Operation may be simple logging of data, or it could be more extensive processing of process or logic signals.

Communication with a computer is usually over Ethernet.

Our latest device is the Programmable Automation Controller, that is able to measure fast analog signals, perform PID control and motion control, and control digital signals using ladder logic or other standard programming languages.
