The model 8065 allows you to control GPIB devices over a TCP/IP network. This means that test + measurement equipment can be controlled over a LAN, WAN or even the internet. Simply plug the 8065 into your Ethernet network and plug your GPIB device(s) into the IEEE488.1 interface of the model 8065 - complete remote control is just a few clicks away. Because the 8065 is VXI-11 compliant, it can be controlled from VISA layers from Agilent, National Instruments and other vendors.
