The ADLINK PCI-7440 series are high density opto-isolated digital input/output cards with 128 channels for either inputs, outputs or a combination. 1250Vac isolation is provided between inputs and the system, to prevent damage to the PC caused by accidental connection to high voltages, and to prevent ground loops.

All outputs can drive up to 300mA signals. Input signal change-of-state detection generates an interrupt request when it detects a logic change on any of its inputs.
