The latest addition to this family of digital I/O boards from ADLINK comes in Low profile PCI format (LPCI), suitable for 3.3V and 5V PCI slots. They all provide 5000Vrms opto-isolation between the host computer's PCI bus and I/O ports. This high level of isolation ensures suitability for rugged industrial applications where spikes or surges are possible.

All I/O ports are accessed by 32-bit I/O instructions yielding increased data throughput.
