This BDF series is driven by parallel BCD code for each digit. Several parallel lines control all the digits and to control the negative sign on these large displays.

The 100mm devices have a viewing distance of over 40m. This makes them ideally suited to industrial applications in paper mills, printing presses, assembly lines, or other manufacturing site where it is critical to read BCD signals from distance. The rugged aluminium case makes the BDF series ideal for demanding environments, yet is equally suited for use in an office or exhibition.
