A panel mounted six digit counter/totaliser offering a wide variety of modes. The MAG983 can be used as a conventional counter, up/down counter, up/down quadrature counter or totaliser. There are also versions which enable tachometer or chronometer (selectable from hours to 1/10th second). Two input channels allow flexible counting modes.

Protection against power failure is provided by non-volatile RAM which stores all counter values. On power up the instrument will start totalising from previous values, unless reset. The MAG983 and MAG35 cases are identical, making them suitable for OEM control panel designs.'
