The UC-7408 has extended functionality in the form of additional USB, PCMCIA, Compact Flash and 8 digital i/o ports.

Ready-to-run out of the box, this UC has Linux or WinCE pre-installed and comes supplied with a complete software development support package which includes a boot loader, device drivers, cross compiler, debug server, web server. What is unique to this UC is its 8-port serial processor engine.

For OEMs a custom front panel design service is available. Amplicon also offers bespoke software development. Once software has been written, it can be deployed across many UCs.
