The Ventrix-W range of rackmount industrial computers are the flagships of their range and are based on PICMG compliant 'single board computers' (SBCs) and 'backplanes'.
This architecture provides excellent expansion capabilities with a product life of at least five years.
Amplicon has now expanded the Ventrix range with the introduction of this 4U Workstation range, the Ventrix-W. These 4U PICMG compliant SBC based rackmount industrial computers are constructed from heavy duty cold rolled electroplated steel.
The key differentiators from standard Ventrix computers are the 83/84 key integrated sliding keyboard with trackball plus 2 mouse buttons and the flat multimedia 7.0" TFT LCD with 800 x 480 resolution. They are ideally suited for IP video applications.
