Amplicon has now expanded the Ventrix range with the introduction of the new 4U Workstation range, the Ventrix-W. These 4U PICMG compliant SBC based rackmount industrial computers are constructed from heavy duty cold rolled electroplated steel. The key differentiators from standard Ventrix computers are the 83/84 key integrated sliding keyboard with trackball plus 2 mouse buttons and the flat multimedia 7.0" TFT LCD with 800 x 480 resolution. They are ideally suited for IP video applications.
All Ventrix-W systems are Windows Vista ready. Hence, complementing the five year product life cycle with added compatibility and support for the next generation of Windows OS.
