These industrial computers have been specifically designed for rail applications and are tested to the rail standards requirements of BS EN 50121-4: Emissions and immunity of the signalling and telecommunications apparatus.

Ventrix 4004 and 4005 Rail systems come with dual Gigabit LAN ports and onboard RAID levels 0, 1, 5 and 10 as standard. They are powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processors, with support for the new Intel Core 2 Quad processors and use PICMG 1.3 and PCIMG 1.0 technology respectively.

The Ventrix 4004 Rail system provides PCI and PCI Express expansion while the Ventrix 4005 Rail system provides PCI and ISA expansion. Both systems are Windows Vista ready.
