This Impact-R series comprises 2U rackmount industrial computers systems based on industrial ATX motherboards:

• The series incorporates industrial motherboards to provide the repeatability and revision control normally associated with industrial SBCs and associated computers
• Industrial motherboards offer good expansion with selected models featuring Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile processor support, and PCI and PCIe expansion

The Impact-R 'repeateable' rackmount computers fill the gap between our standard Impact and Ventrix range computers by providing up to a five year life cycle.

Impact-R industrial computer systems offer much more than our standard Impact range as they feature 1 year onsite warranty and excellent PCI and PCIe expansion, CompactFlash card support, more serial ports, watchdog timer and dual Gigabit LAN ports.

The Impact-R 2015 system is Windows Vista ready.
