The SW5001 has inherited all of the best features of its predecessor, the GW51W-MAXI, whilst adding RoHS compliance, WPA2 encryption and a wired Ethernet port for simple configuration. This makes the SW5001 the most cost-effective and feature rich wireless device server on the market today.

In 'infrastructure' mode, many SW5001s can communicate with a host PC via an Access Point. In 'ad-hoc' mode, a pair of SW5001s can be configured to communicate directly with each other - what goes in one end, comes out of the other!
