The SED-3300 can be used in conjunction with any ACTi video server / video encoder to provide a transparent video bridge across an IP network. This means that existing Cat5(e) infrastructure cabling, fibre optic or DSL services can be used to send full D1 video at 30 frames per second to a remote location. Using an encoder decoder pair allows video to be sent across a 802.11 wireless network, effectively providing a total wireless video solution.
