The DE-311 is a tried and tested device server with thousands of pieces installed in the field. This product can connect serial devices such as bar code scanners, electricity meters, data loggers and environmental monitoring equipment to a host PC across an Ethernet network with little effort required by the installer. Intuitive configuration software allows the unit to be deployed quickly and simply even by those with minimal networking knowledge. Pair connection, TCP server/client and even an Ethernet modem mode of operation is all supported by this one unit.
