The TCC-120 extends an RS422/485 bus well over the specified 1.2km limit so enabling the extension of existing multidrop networks. Point to point links covering many kilometres can be achieved using several units back to back. The isolated version is essential for longer cable runs to avoid data problems due to ground potential differences or simply to afford protection to connected equipment.
