The ANE-208 is a low cost and flexible Industrial Ethernet switch from Amplicon designed for use in a wide range of industrial applications. It has 8 x 10/100Mbps ports and 2 dual personality Gigabit ports.

The gigabit ports on the ANE-208 can be used to provide a high bandwidth uplink to a core switch or server or to provide a connection to another ANE-208. For distributed applications, the gigabit ports can be occupied with SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) transceivers providing fibre-optic Ethernet connections up to 80km depending on the choice of SFP.
