The EDS-510A managed industrial Ethernet switch provides up to 3 Gigabit ports allowing high-bandwidth gigabit redundant rings to be built and provide an additional 1000Mbps uplink port to a server.
This is ideal for mission-critical and distributed IP CCTV networks that require high availability or distribution over a wide area using the fibre-optic gigabit options available. Many competing models only offer 2 gigabit ports, confining high speed Ethernet traffic to within the ring. A selection of SFP modules can be used for fibre optic backbone connections up to 80km.
